Guided tours are one of the best ways to get the most out of your trip to the Botanic Gardens. Our knowledable staff and volunteers shed a new light on the way we view plant life and will introduce you to a new world in the undergrowth.
Free guided walks
These walks help visitors to see and understand the beauty and clever adaptations of Australia's native flora, as well as the research and effort involved in creating and maintaining the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
Daily at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm | 1 hour
Meet at the Visitors Centre
Bookings are not required but please arrive 10 minutes before departure time. We request that groups of 8 people or more arrange a booked walk rather than joining a scheduled walk.
Conducted by volunteer guides from the Friends of the ANBG. Donations to the Friends are most welcome.
Discover the Gardens in relaxing style in this one hour guided tour aboard a 12-seater electric bus.
When: Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays | 10.30am & 1.30 pm. Additional daily midweek tours at 10.30am during ACT October School Holidays.
Where: Tours begin outside the Visitor Centre.
Cost: $6.00 adult | $3.00 child under 16 and concession | Children under 3 ride free.
